Scope of Work:

Improve vehicular circulation at the site entrance and design a small addition to the existing Visitor's Building to function as orientation space for visitors and press-conference space.

Project Description:

The original Visitor's Building is positioned in the median between inbound and outbound lanes at the main site entrance. All visitors entering the site are required to stop at this building before entering the site. In some instances, these visitors are required to park and enter the building to complete the necessary site orientation before being allowed to enter the site. To alleviate congestion, a third lane was added to allow employees and vetted contractors the ability to enter the site without being help up by the visitor vetting process.

 

To further improve the vetting process a 20' x 20' addition provides space for visitors to view safety videos on personal handheld devices. This freed up needed space within the guard area.
